**Parry the Phrase. Return It Reversed.** COUNTERVERSE is an original portrait-first precision duel. Each enemy writes an attack phrase with four directional cuts. Parry every cut on the beat to capture the score, then perform the complete phrase from right to left to turn the enemy's own cadence against it.
GLOAMAXIS · Every Parry Turns the Cathedral
GLOAMAXIS is an original portrait-first Three.js action ritual. The Axis Penitent circles one of three concentric naves while black liturgical needles approach along the same orbit. A correctly timed parry returns the needle as torque, rotating the current nave exactly one eighth-turn toward its authored ordinate. Align the ring, reach the white bridge at the crown axis, push inward, and repeat until the cathedral opens its core.
GROOVEHEIST: Every Parry Steals a Beat
An original portrait-first rhythm duel built on one conserved physical record. Each of twelve absolute groove slots is Boss-owned, player-owned, or an empty rest. During STEAL, answer an incoming High, Mid, or Low note at the needle, or spend finite Breath to Slip it. A clean answer transfers that exact slot from the Boss to the player; it does not deal damage and it never moves the note. During RETURN, inputs lock and the same stolen slots play at the same positions. Their circular order must exactly equal the published Crown Mix.
